I chose Spoonfuls of Germany by Nadia Hassani for its collection of regional recipes and its exploration of German cooking.
Living in Luxembourg makes it easy to visit Germany, and our trips to Trier, Koblenz, Mainz, and beyond have given me wonderful memories of the food and wine. This book gave me an opportunity to explore the cooking of those places more deeply and bring some of those memories into my own kitchen.
